What is CMS ?
CMS - Content Management System
Websites created for companies and institutions are based on a CMS system, which allows to change and update the web page content quickly and easily. CMS is also a website by means of which people who know nothing about programming can first create and later on edit the contents of the Web site. For CMS usage only a completely basic knowledge of computer word processing is required.
Working with the CMS system is just as simple as visiting the Web page, all you need is to log on to the administrative panel, invisible for the ordinary user, using the Web browser and the Internet connection only.
Content management is held in special panels prepared for particular customers and word processing is held through editors of the WYSiWYG type, which are similar to most common word processing programs such as Open Office or MS Word. This editor allows us to insert the text in the same way it will be visible on the website. We can edit the text and the font, insert pictures and photographs, add links to other websites and documents ready for charging. Editors of this type are very simple to use. |
